EXAMPLE: N-allyloxyethyl-2-methyl-3-fluoro-6-ethylaniline.
USE: A synthetic intermediate for haloacetanilide derivative useful as a herbicide for agricultural and horticultural use.
PREPARATION: The objective compound of formula I can be produced by reacting the compound of formula II with the compound of formula III (X is halogen). The starting compound of formula II is novel and can be synthesized according to the reaction formula.
