Abstract:
To provide an NAT device improving performance as a duplexed NAT device.
An active NAT device 100 and a backup NAT device 200 are located between a device belonging to a private address space and a device belonging to a global address space, and executes address conversion of a packet transmitted/received between the devices. When the active NAT device 100 generates conversion information for the address conversion, a packet transfer part 113 transfers pre- and post-conversion packets to the backup NAT device 200. The backup NAT device 200 generates conversion information from the pre- and post-conversion packets received from the active NAT device 100 by a conversion information generation part 230.
