Title:
DOORWAY DEVICE IN ELEVATOR HALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3139907
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a gap between the fixed part of a cage doorway and a door panel as small as possible by bending the tip of a shielding plate on the door panel side parallelly to the tip butting part on the doorway frame side.
CONSTITUTION: The rear end part of a door panel 1 is provided with a U-shape shielding plate 4, and the tip part, opposed to a doorway frame 2, of the shielding plate 4 is provided with a bent part 4a. The bent part 4a of the shielding plate 4 therefore forms a narrow gap G. In the closed state of the door panel, smoke caused by a fire happened in a building is therefore prevented further completely from flowing into an elevator shaft. During the opening- closing of the door panel 1, the gap always exists between the shielding plate 4 and the doorway frame 2, so that desirable door opening-closing performance can be maintained.
