Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain the broad band and the high sensitivity of an antenna for a mobile object by providing a ground side antenna element on the antenna for the mobile object.
CONSTITUTION: An antenna for mobile object 1 is constituted of an freely expandable antenna element 2, an antenna container case 3 in which the antenna element 2 is housed so as to be led out from one end, an antenna element 4, a feeder 5 and a holder 6. The antenna element 4 is provided on the ground side of the antenna container case 3 and in the holder 6 while being opposed to the antenna element 2. The feeder 5 is extracted from the antenna container case in parallel with the antenna element 4 at the ground side. The holder 6 houses the antenna element 4 and the feeder 5 while bundling them. Moreover, plural antenna elements having different lengths may be used for the antenna element 4. By such the constitution broad band and high sensitivity are attained for the antenna for the mobile object and earthing is taken without destroying the paint of the like on the surface of the vehicle body.
