Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the basic configuration of mixing valves for water combination faucet which realize a stable water cutoff, properly sets up a hot water mixing ratio according to the rotating angle of an operating lever, adjusts flow not related to the adjustment of the hot water mixing ratio, and prevents water hammer from occurring.
SOLUTION: Mixing valves for water combination faucet provided with a set of outer cylinder 11 and inner cylinder 21 which are inserted internally into a valve body and fitted closely to each other. The outer cylinder is connected to an operating lever 31 only rotatable relative to the valve body, and the inner cylinder is connected slidably in vertical direction to the operating lever 31. Also through holes 16 and 17 which are interconnected to hot water inlet ports 2 and 3 provided in the valve body and of which ratio of opening interconnected to the inlet ports 2 and 3 by its rotation varies are provided in the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder opens and closes the through holes 16 and 17 of the outer cylinder from the inside by its vertical motion. Then a flow path 4 which interconnects spaces inside the inner and outer cylinders to a hot water outlet is provided in the valve body 1, and a valve body 41 which opens and closes a valve seat 5 provided in this flow path is suspended from the inner cylinder with a play provided between them.
