Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a flame-retardant paper as a wall paper, readily releasable in repapering, leaving a uniform paper layer on a wall after removal.
CONSTITUTION: In a wood pulp slurry, burnt kaolin or white carbon is used as a filler and starch or a polyvinyl alcohol as the binder. Or, in the pulp slurry, aluminum hydroxide is used as a filler and a polyacrylamide resin as the binder.
