PURPOSE: To obtain a stick-preventive material for marine organisms excellent in repelling activity, antifouling capability and sustainability by curing a rubber composition containing compound(s) such as tannin and another kind of compound(s) such as an isothiocyanate.

CONSTITUTION: The material can be obtained by curing a rubber composition containing (A) pref. 2-20 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber composition, of at least one kind of compound having repelling activity against marine animals, selected from tannin, saponin and nicotinamide and (B) pref. 10-30 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber composition, of at least one kind of compound having repelling activity against marine plants, selected from isothiocyanates, organoarsenic compounds and maleimides.
