CONSTITUTION: A pipe P to be supplied from a supply part is transported to a processing part 9 by way of holding it on a carriage 22. In this case, the carriage 22 is controlled to travel at a tramsportation pitch corresponding with a drilling pitch. Subsequently, drilling machines of the processing part 9 is controlled to actuate to drill in accordance with the tramsportation timing of the carriage 22. Consequently, it comes to be unnecessary to provide the drilling machines in the number corresponding to the number of holes to be drilled, and it is possible to reduce the number of the drilling machines.
