Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide damping material easy to manufacture, low in the cost and fit to obtain stable damping performance as the sound insulating and vibration isolating material for machinery, building structure, or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Conductive coating material is applied to sheet or film like piezoelectric material. Vibrational energy is thereby dispersed being converted into heat energy through electric energy by the piezoelectric material and conductive material to obtain excellent damping performance. Since the piezoelectric material is a sheet or film like material and the conductive material is formed by application, molding difficulty as in the existing way can be dissolved, and manufacture can be facilitated.
