Abstract:
PURPOSE: To interconnect a pair of shield cables, and simultaneously shield a connector by providing wire receiving slots at a free end of a base by cutting up one part thereof, and pressure connecting the grounding wire of an electric cable. CONSTITUTION: The end portion of a rib 45 is integrated with an abutting face portion 52 adjoining to a corresponding sidewall 34, and is engaged with an end portion 32 to which a positioning bar 28 corresponds. The end portion of the rib 45 is integrated with an adjoining abutting face 52 apart from the sidewall 34, and is engaged with the end portion 32 to which the bar 28 corresponds. The end portion of the rib 45 a long recessed portion 54 apart from the sidewall 34 and cooperating with the side wall 34 so as to receive the central portion 30 of the bar 28 to which a lower portion housing 2 corresponds. Respective wire receiving portions 66 are formed of confronting arms 70 rising from legs 64, and receive wires in slots 68. Then the shielding case is equipped with the slot 68 receiving a grounding wire, the grounding wire of an electric cable can be pressure connected to its terminal, a pair of shield cables are compression connected, and a connector is shielded.
