PURPOSE: To provide a running guide device for an elevator having a characteristic of favorable riding comfortableness by saving the energy at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: In a running guide device for an elevator provided with an elevator car 1 and a running guide for running this car guided along guide rails 14 in a lift well, the running guide comprises the first guides 4, 6 set up in an upper part right/left of the elevator car 1 and the second guides 5, 7 set up in a lower part right/left. Further, the first guides 4, 6 are constituted of a guide roller 15 guided in press contact with the guide rail 14, and the second guides are constituted respectively of a guide roller guided in press contact with the guide rail 14 and a magnetic guide part 13 guided to be sucked in non-contact manner to the guide rail 14.
