Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain diversified multiple photographing in the case that not only photographed frames are simply overlapped but also only a standstill or moving object is not desired to be overlapped and in the case that an object with a large luminance change is recorded while the luminance is averaged with that of other frame. SOLUTION: After an object image is photoelectric-converted by an image pickup device 12, the image is synthesized with an image signal recorded by a recoding means 18 and the synthesized image is recorded by the recoding means 18 in the multiple image pickup device for a digital camera. An arithmetic circuits for the synthesis, an adder arithmetic circuit 13, a comparison arithmetic circuit 14, an OR arithmetic circuit 15, an AND arithmetic circuit 16 and a difference arithmetic circuit 17 are provided and some of plural kinds of the arithmetic circuits 13-17 are selected depending on application and the images are synthesized and the result is recorded in the recoding means 18.
