Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reuse the used air elevated in temperature for cooling the printing plate of a printing press by mixing with fresh air.
CONSTITUTION: The air blown via a heat exchanger 52 and a blower 60 onto the surface 4 of a rotating cylindrical printing plate 6 returns to the air intake 54 of the heat exchanger 52 through the air return paths 20 and 22, then is mixed with fresh air 42 taken in the blower 60 and is blown again through the heat exchanger 52 onto the surface 4 of the printing plate 6.
