PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving working efficiency and introducing an extruded shapes to a coiling machine to reduce flaws of an inspecting tool by eliminating a manual introducing operation which is always performed when coiling is interrupted for the shift of rest and service and a die change and then the coiling is restarted.

CONSTITUTION: After an end part 1a of an extruded shapes 1 coiled first by a take-up machine 5 and a tip part 1b of the extruded shapes 1 coiled then are joined through a metal fixture 6 for joining shapes between an extruding machine 2 and the inspecting tool 3, the end part 1a is coiled on the take-up machine 5 and the tip part 1b is introduced to the take-up machine 5.
