PURPOSE: To make complicated opening-and-shutting motions of blinds that are different from one another executed simultaneously, to make the blinds form characters and figures and to make such characters and figures vary quickly by a method wherein a plurality of blinds are controlled by means of centralized control with a center controller.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of blinds 21, 22...2n are connected to a center controller 1 through communication lines 3. An MPU 4 of the center controller 1 transmits data inputted into an equipment-assigning switch 5 and an operation- assigning switch 6 to the blinds through the communication lines 3 by operation of a transmission circuit 7. The blinds 21, 22...2n receive the signals simultaneously by operation of receiving circuits 9, and analyze the received data with MPU's 8. Each of the blinds 21, 22...2n is equipped with a setting circuit 10 for setting its own equipment number and a memory circuit 11 for storing its own operation data. Then, driving circuits 12... of the blinds are driven on instructions by the MPU's 8... and the blinds are operated thereby.
