Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the fixing device with a simple structure and ready handleability for the treatment of diseases such as of thoracic spine and lumbar spine.
CONSTITUTION: A screw axis 2 is fixed near a lesion such as of thoracic spine and lumber spine by using a nut 4 integrally provided on a screw member 1. A transparent hole 9 in one 8a of washers 8a, 8b is pierced through a head axis 6 and engaged with a rectangular projection part 5 to be provided on the hole 9 with a nut 4. Then, a connector 11 being pierced through with a rod 17 is engaged at piercing holes 15 and 15 provided in a connection section 14 of foot parts 12 and 12 in advance by using a notched part 13 in the horizontal direction of the head axis 6. The connector 11 is held by the washers 8a and 8b. A nut 18 is screwed into the head axis 6. With a slit 16 on the foot part 12 of the connector 11, the rod 17 is surely attached to the screw member 1.
