Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fiber excellent in mild glossiness and transparency by including a specific amount of particles having a prescribed optical refractive index and a prescribed average primary particle diameter.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fiber is obtained by including particles such as silica, alumina or talc having 1.3-2.0 optical refractive index and 5-50mμ, preferably 30-50mμ average primary particle diameter in an amount satisfying the formula [X is the average primary particle diameter (mμ); Y is the content (wt.%) of the particles in the fiber].
