Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable any number of additional equipments to be connected without increasing the number of interfaces for an image formation device main body by controlling each additional equipment by specifying a control identification code in the image formation device main body. CONSTITUTION:The system is comprised of the image formation device main body 1 which forms an image on a recording medium by receiving character code information or picture image information, etc., from a host system 2, and seven kinds of additional equipment 3-9 loadable/unloadable on the image formation device main body 1. In other words, two multistage paper suppliers 3 and 4 that are recording medium feeder, a large amount of paper supplier 5, a reverse paper ejector 6 that is a recording medium ejector, a multistage paper ejector 7 and a large amount of paper ejector 8, a carrier 9 for two planes that is a recording medium carrier are loaded, and all of them are connected to the image formation device main body 1 with a common serial signal line 10. Thereby, it is possible to increase the number of additional equipment more than ever.
