Abstract:
The machine tool has two spindles (15,16) drivable about their rotary axes and movable in the axial direction are held in partial carriages (7,8) which together make a complete carriage. Only the entire carriage is led through a guide arrangement on the machine body (2). The guide arrangement has two linear guides (3,4) with associated guide vehicles (5,6). The partial carriages are supported opposite each other in vertical guides (9,10).
