Title:
MOBILE TERMINAL AND DEMODULATION CIRCUIT ACTIVATION METHOD IN MOBILE TERMINAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3093705
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the operation of a demodulation circuit to unwanted signals by making a mobile object terminal activate the demodulation circuit, based on the value of the reception electric field level signals of signals from a base station and shift to a reception operation.
SOLUTION: A reception signal voltage inputted from an RSSI (reception electric field strength signal) input terminal is amplified by a differential amplifier 101, then inputted to a comparator 103 and compared with the output voltage of the D/A converter 102 of squelch set by software. That is, in the comparator 103, the output voltage for which data set to a register by the software beforehand are converted into analog signals in the D/A converter 102 and RSSI are compared, and only when the RSSI exceeds the software set data (threshold), the demodulation circuit is activated as a squelch signal. Thus, the timing of operating the demodulation circuit is recognized, and reception data are correctly recognized in the case of the retrieval of a peripheral base station or the like.
