PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition comprising hydrogen peroxide, a specific quaternary ammonium-containing acyloxybenzene sulfonic acid salt and an acyloxybenzene-containing quaternary ammonium salt, and having a sufficient bleaching effect even under washing conditions at low temperatures.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Hydrogen peroxide or a peroxide (e.g. sodium percarbonate) producing the hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution, (B) a quaternary ammonium salt-containing acyloxybenzene sulfonic acid salt compound of formula I [R1 is (substituted) 1-20C alkyl. alkenyl; R2, R3 are 1-3C alkyl; A, B are 2-22C alkylene), and (C) a quaternary ammonium salt-containing acyloxybenzene of formula II (X is inorganic or organic counter-ion) are compounded in a B/C weight ratio of 100/0.01 to 100/5 to obtain the objective bleacher or bleacher composition exhibiting a sufficient bleaching effect even under washing conditions at low temperatures.
