PURPOSE: To secure good amenity in a car cabin by controlling actuators so as to generate a control force expressed by a linear sum where the road surface information is subjected to weighing with a sine wave having a cyclic period near the sub-spring natural frequency of the suspension in the period of time from sensing of any unevenness of the road surface till a wheel to be controlled reaching this surface unevenness.
CONSTITUTION: Actuators 18FL-18RR are installed between wheel to be controlled and the car body, the road surface information for ahead of the applicable wheel is sensed by ahead road surface information sensing means 26FL, 26FR. A control means 30 controls the actuators so as to generate a control force expressed by a linear sum where the road surface information is subjected to weighing with a sine wave having a cyclic period near the sub-spring natural frequency of the suspension in the period of time from sensing of any road surface unevenness by these sensing means till the applicable wheel reaching this read surface. Thereby the sub-spring motion part is excited into vibration so that the phase of the part matches with the unevenness to accomplish a predicted suspension control of good performance, and a fine amenity in car cabin is ensured.
