PURPOSE: To provide an electroplating device, by which the overcoat is effectively prevented from occurring without mechanically masking the edge parts of a steel sheet.

CONSTITUTION: In the electroplating device, the non plating electrolyte supply means 5 for supplying non-plating electrolyte such as H2SO4 to the edge parts of the steel sheet 1 are provided in the plating cell 4 having the electrodes 2 of wider width than the sheet width of the steel sheet 1. Thus the overcoat in the edge parts of the steel sheet 1 is prevented from occurring in such an arrangement of each of the edge parts of the steel sheet 1 and the adjacent non-plating electrolyte supply means 5 that they are being apart from each other.
