Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a production method capable of inexpensively molding a three-dimensional multiaxial woven fabric composite material having excellent mechanical properties free from defects, coordinating a use condition.
CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional multiaxial woven fabric preform 8 is packed into a variable volume molding container 5 and an epoxy resin 7 is filled into the molding container 5. The molding container is put in a pressure container 1 charged with a pressure medium 6, is provided with necessary hydrostatic pressure by the pressure medium 6 at a prescribed curing temperature. After the fluidity of the resin 7 is substantially lost, the molding container 5 is taken out from the pressure container 1 and then cured.
