Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject apparatus capable of forming an isotropic fiber web by oppositely rotating adjacent opening cylinders and covering the gap between the adjacent cylinders with a housing having a fiber-delivering part.
CONSTITUTION: Plural opening cylinders 21, 22, 23, 24 for opening the fiber supplied from a feeder 1 are arranged in such a manner as to rotate the adjacent opening cylinders in opposite directions. The gap between the adjacent opening cylinders is covered with a housing having a delivering part 4. The freely falling fiber discharged from the opening 5 is received by a conveyor 7 and sucked with a suction box 8.
