PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for corrosion testing which can make measurement under a nearly actual corrosive condition.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for corrosion testing is constituted of a sample electrode 1 composed of a cylindrical pipe made of a material which is substantially the same as that of a pipeline to be measured with which water comes into contact, reference electrode 4 which is symmetrically positioned against the electrode 1 in parallel with the length direction of the pipeline near the electrode 1 and made of a conductive material, and counter electrode 5 which is positioned to an arbitrary position where the electrode does not come into contact with the electrodes 1 and 4 and made of a conductive material. The apparatus is provided with a current or voltage impressing section and measuring section which are electrically connected to the electrodes 1, 4, and 5.
