Abstract:
PURPOSE: To speed up a data setting control process at the time of a start-up process by a system which sets a function block having redundant constitution by using serial data from a CPU board as to control over communication device.
CONSTITUTION: This system has an address selecting circuit 116 which has the redundant constitution and selects addresses for function blocks 102 and 103 having unique address values individually so that the function block (in operation) 102 and function block (stand-by) 103 have the same address when the system is started up and then have the unique address values after the system is started up. Consequently, when data which should be set from a CPU 111 when the system is started up are sent in series, the number of packets of the function blocks 102 and 103 having the redundant constitution can be decreased and the start-up process can be speeded up.
