Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a low-frequency medical instrument preventing a pain proper to a low-frequency pulse from being felt by a patient.

CONSTITUTION: A pulse waveform whose rising and falling are moderated is digitized and stored in a lookup table 5. The address of the lookup table 5 is scanned by the output of a counter 3 when medical treatment is applied, and a digital signal representing the pulse waveform is read out. The digital signal is converted to an analog signal, and is boosted to a prescribed voltage, and is outputted as the low-frequency pulse. It is prevented that a current rises or falls steeply according to the rise/fall of the low-frequency pulse, and flowing on a human body.
