Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a voice recognizing device which may always enhance the recognition rate by surely determining a degree of a voice distortion which occurs when a voice is issued under noise, when the voice distortion is compensated.
CONSTITUTION: A power measuring means 2 measures a power of an input voice, and an analyzing means 3 calculates a characteristic parameter of the input voice through acoustic analysis, and a variation estimating means 5 estimates a variation in formant frequency with the use of the measured voice power. Then, a compensation value calculating means 8 calculates a compensation value with the use of the variation estimated by the estimating means 5, and a parameter compensating means 9 compensates the characteristic parameter with the use of the compensation value. Further, an identification means 10 identifies the input voice with a standard voice with the use of the compensated parameter.
