Abstract:
PURPOSE: To contrive an integral formation of a multilayer foam molding consisting of a plurality of kinds of resin bead layers.
CONSTITUTION: Since a foam forming die has small vent holes, by utilizing the flow of gas occurring toward the wall when compressed gas is sent into the die, the die to filled with foam beads in a multiple layer. The resin beads in a pressure type hopper 1 are forced into a die 11 by the pressure of the hopper and pressure gas is also sent into the die 11. The resin beads are forced into the die by the gas pressure in the pressurizing type hopper 2 as soon as the supply of the pressure gas is stopped, this cyclic action is repeated to place a plurality of the resin beads into the die 11 and the inside of the die 11 is thereafter heated to fuse together the resin beads placed therein.
