Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely carry out automatic exchange of the nozzle without carrying out teaching with high accuracy by absorbing a teaching error while surely preventing shaking of coil springs in the exchanging device of the welding torch nozzle to automatically exchange the welding torch nozzle of an arc welding robot mainly.
CONSTITUTION: The exchanging device is provided with the coil springs 3 which have the inside diameter in contact with the peripheral surface of the nozzle 1A and in which the nozzle 1A is set and a rotation driving source 5 capable of driving to rotate the coil springs 3 around the central axis and the coil springs 3 are driven to rotate in the specified direction by the rotation driving source 5. Consequently, in attaching and detaching the nozzle 1A to a welding torch main body 2, an elastic member 6 to absorb vibrational energy in the direction to orthogonally cross the axial direction of these coil springs 3 is provided with a specified clearance at an interval with the coil springs 3 on the periphery of the coil springs 3.
