Title:
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MOLD CLAMPING FORCE IN MOTOR-DRIVEN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3038469
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform to hold a set mold clamping force by a smaller electric power by rotating reversely a ball screw under a condition where the mold clamping force is kept within a allowable fluctuation range during mold clamping is performed after the mold clamping force reaches a little larger mold clamping force.
SOLUTION: A motor-driven injection molding machine is provided with a mold clamping device 20 wherein a servo motor 26 is a driving source and rotational force is converted to a propelling power by means of a ball screw and a nut. To a preset mold clamping force, an allowable fluctuation range is set above and below it and when the mold clamping process is started, a mold clamping force being larger by the allowable fluctuation range than the set mold clamping force is generated. A ball screw is rotated reversely under a condition where the mold clamping force is kept within the allowable fluctuation range during mold clamping is performed after the mold clamping force reaches a little larger mold clamping force. Behaviors of the mold clamping force corresponds to behavior of displacement of a crosshead 28 in the mold clamping device 20 within a range where the mold clamping force is small.
