Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coated paper for decorative laminate having especially excellent delamination strength as well as excellent smoothness, surface strength, hiding power and printability.
CONSTITUTION: This coated paper is produced by using a no-size base paper having a surface strength of 7A to 15A in conformity to JIS P8129, a smoothness of ≥100sec in conformity to JIS P8119 and a freeness of 400-700cc, coating the paper with a coating containing a filler and a binder or a clear resin liquid free from filler to impregnate the resin component of the coating into the base paper and calendering the coated base paper.
