Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quick-acting volatile rust inhibiting liq. maintaining a rust inhibiting effect for a long time by mixing a volatile rust inhibitor, an alcohol soln., and a rust preventive oil.
SOLUTION: A volatile rust inhibitor by about 8wt.%, about 16wt.% alcohol soln. and about 76wt.% rust preventive oil are mixed to prepare a volatile rust inhibiting liq. In this case, cyclohexyl-cyclohexamine, cyclohexylbezenamine, etc., are used in the volatile rust inhibitor, and normal propanol is used in the volatile alcohol soln. Consequently, a rust inhibiting effect is maintained for a long time, and a volatile rust inhibiting liq. quickly exhibiting a rust inhibiting effect is obtained.
