PURPOSE: To make it easier to place a finger in a gripping part of a tab and reduce the traction of the tab by a method wherein an extension, which extends from a rivet side to the vicinity of the rivet, exceeding a score at a rupture starting location, is provided on a tab, and a tab tilted part, which continues from the extending part, is also provided at the leading end of the tab.
CONSTITUTION: At the tip of a tab 6, which ruptures a rupture opening part 10 to form a drinking port for a can lid 1, a tilted part 15, which gradually separates from the rupture opening part 10, is provided by an extending part 13. This tilted part 15 is provided to be continued from the tip of the extension 13, which extends to the leading end direction along a panel 3, from a rivet 5 to a close location to this rivet 5. Also, a rupture starting location 17 for a score 4 is provided on the panel 3 between the tip 14 of the extension and the rivet 5. By this method, when a finger is placed in a gripping part 11 of the tab 6, and the tab 6 is lifted, the rupture opening part 10 is ruptured by being pushed out by the tip 14 of the extension 13 of the tab 6, and a ruptured rupture opening part 10' stays on the rear side of the panel 3 under a folded condition.
