Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform construction work with good efficiency by a method in which the front and back of tubes to be laid are centered, the tubes are fitted with each other, the arm of centering device is lowered and the vertically moving base of carrying vehicle is lowered, and the carrying vehicle is retracted. CONSTITUTION:An outer tube A is laid from a starting shaft toward a reaching shaft, and an inner tube B1 hung down into the starting shaft is loaded on a carrying vehicle 3. A centering device 1 is provided on the back side of inside the tube B1, a screw 17 is turned to move the free end of an arm 13 for centering in a rocking manner, and the axis of the front part of an inner tube B2 to be connected is centered with the axis of the existing inner tube B1. A vertically moving base 33 is raised to lift up the back of the tube B2 for centering the axis of both the tubes B1 and B2. A rope 4 is pulled up by a drag rod 14 and the tube B2 is pulled up to the tube B1 to connect the tubes B1 and B2. The base 33 is then lowered, the vehicle 3 is retracted, the arm 13 is separated from the tube B2, and the vehicle 3 is moved to the rear part of the tube B2 by self-propelling.
