PURPOSE: To simplify the installation work of the title counter by adjusting the whole depth thereof, by a method wherein an auxiliary counter is formed in an almost L-shaped section, it placed on the rear guard of a main counter, and moved rearward and forward.

CONSTITUTION: A sink 2 and a range 3 are mounted on a main counter 1, and at the rear end thereof, a rear guard 1a is formed of a riser and an auxiliary counter 4 is placed thereon. The auxiliary counter 4 is formed of both a horizontal board 4a and a vertical board 4b in order to be in an almost L- shaped section, the width thereof is the same as that of the main counter 1, and the height of the vertical board 4b is fitted to that of the rear guard 1a. The auxiliary counter 4 is placed on the rear guard 1a, placing the vertical board 4a in the front thereof. When the auxiliary counter 4 is moved rearward and forward in the condition that the auxiliary counter 4 is placed on the rear guard 1a, the whole depth D of the title counter including the auxiliary counter 4 can be adjusted to some degree.
