Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve an electrode connector for electrocardiogram electrodes and an electrode assembly with this connector and electrode. CONSTITUTION: An electrode connector and an electrode assembly are provided with a head 22 and this head is electrically connected to a pad 1 impregnated with conductive gel. The connector is provided with a contact member 41 which is a good conductor to be connected to the head, a member 42 which fixes the connetor to the connection head 22 of the electrode in the same manner as a snap, an insulated protective cap 43 which partly surrounds the contact member 41, an electric cable with one conductor 44 connected to the contact member, and a strain sensor 45 which is installed between a part of the contact member 41 and an internal region of one side of the cap 43. And, a device for detecting strain which produces artifact, and at least one other conductor 46 connected to the strain sensor 45 are provided.
