PURPOSE: To obtain a processor with a small processing liquid capacity in which the level of processing liquid can be exactly held by holding the upper level of the processing liquid at a position lower than the processing liquid exist of a nozzle for supplying the processing liquid.
CONSTITUTION: A processing module 10 is provided with a processing assembly and carrying assemblies 12, 13, and 15 in a container 11, and a processing channel 25 through which processing liquid is allowed to flow is formed. The processing channel 25 has 40% of the whole amounts of the processing liquid, the thickness 100 times as thick as that of a photosensitive material 21, and a discharge port for introducing the processing liquid. Then, the processing liquid is circulated from the processing module 10 to the discharge port by a circulating system, and a level 235 of the processing liquid for an overflow path 51 is held by a sensor 52. Also, the photosensitive member 21 is moved while fixed to the surface of a back board 9 of the processing channel 25 and the surface of nozzles 17a to 17c. That is, the processing liquid can be efficiently carried to one face of the photosensitive member 21 by the nozzles 17a to 17c, and also the boundary of air being in contact with the processing liquid can be reduced.
