Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make liq. industrial wastes harmless and to recover copper as the valuable component by mixing a waste sodium sulfide soln. and a waste copper sheet etchant to bring about reactions and recovering the copper as copper sulfide.
CONSTITUTION: A waste sodium sulfide soln. is mixed with a waste copper sheet etchant consisting of 0-50g/l CuCl, 30-300g/l, CuCl2, 10-200g/l of free HCl and 0-30g/l of the others to bring about reactions, hence the compds. are converted to copper sulfide, and the copper sulfide is separated from liq. and recovered.
