PURPOSE: To simplify the control of a pattern by sticking the base end side of a pipe pattern with step formed so that the center directional lines of both end opening parts become mutually parallel to an opening hole connecting part formed as upward inclining state at the side part of a main body pattern in a drainage collecting pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The lost foam pattern 1 for drainage collecting pipe is composed of foamed synthetic resin of polystyrene, etc. The lost foam pattern 1 is provided with the main body pattern 4 and the pipe pattern 5 with step for projected to the side part of the main body and these patterns 4, 5 are formed with the separated metallic mold as one block to each. The main body pattern 4 provides a large diameter part 6 and a tapered tube part 7 and at the side wall of the large diameter part 6, the opening hole connecting part 8 is arranged. This opening hole connecting part is formed as upward inclining state so that the plane S1 containing the opening hole and surface shifts by angle α to the pipe axial direction (l1). By sticking the base end side of the pipe pattern 5 with step to the opening hole connecting part 8 in the main body pattern 4 with adhesive, etc., the lost foam pattern 1 for drainage collecting pipe is constituted. By this method, the control of the pattern is simplified and manufacturing cost of the metallic mold is reduced.
