PURPOSE: To obtain an optimum refrigerator for ship in the simple structure which can equalize an oil amount of each oil tank as with the case not tilted even when each compres-sor capable of parallel operation is tilted relative to the horizontal level.

CONSTITUTION: Oil equalizing pipes 5 and 6 for connecting each of oil tanks 1a and 2a of each of compressors 1 and 2 which is capable of parallel operation to the low pressure sides of each of the compressors 1 and 2 are inserted into each of the oil tanks 1a and 2a, and oil equalizing ports 5a and 6a of each of the oil equalizing pipes 5 and 6 is opened at an oil level geometrical center of gravity of each of the oil tanks 1a and 2a. By reducing fluctuation of relative positions of the oil equalizing ports 5a and 6a W a proper oil level at the horizontal level, oil amounts of each of the oil tanks 1a and 2a are equalized as with the case not tilted.
