PURPOSE: To provide a marking sheet which can present a beautiful metallic gloss when stuck to an adherend and does not slide when cut with a cutter on a conveyor belt by preparing a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet made by forming a metallized layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on either surface of a transparent synthetic resin film, laying a release sheet made of a polyester film on the surface of the adhesive layer, leaving the surface of the adhesive layer smooth and matting the other surface.
CONSTITUTION: As the synthetic resin film, a polyethylene terephthalate film of a thickness of 10-30μm is used. This film is subjected to a corona discharge treatment before metallization and then metallized with, e.g. aluminum. A pressure-sensitive layer made of, e.g. an acrylic pressuresensitive adhesive is formed on the metallized surface. As the release sheet, a sheet made of polyethylene terephthalate and having a thickness of 50μm or above is used. The side of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is left smooth, and the other side is matted. The marking sheet 1 shown in Fig. consists of a polyethylene terephthalate film 2, a metallized aluminum layer 3, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 4 and a release sheet 5 having a matted surface 51 and a smooth surface 52.
