Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make laminating of a solar cell module suitable for the surface shape of the substrate possible, including flat or curved plate glasses of any curvature.

CONSTITUTION: A hermetically sealing member 4 is installed on a container 2 holding heating liquid 3 in such a manner that the member 4 can be freely opened/closed. The openings of both sealing member 4 and container 2 are provided with a rubber diaphragm 8. The space between the diaphragms 8 and the interior of the sealing member 4 are connected to a vacuum pump; these areas are evacuated to vacuum in laminating. The liquid circulation line connected to the container 2 is provided with a circulation pump and heating/ cooling apparatus, and temperature-controlled heating liquid is circulated through the container 2. A workpiece is placed between the diaphragms 8 and the space is evacuated to vacuum. Then the diaphragms 8 are put into hermetical contact with the workpiece regardless of its surface shape, flat or curved. Thus the workpiece is evenly heated, melted and defoamed by the heating liquid 3, and a laminated solar cell module is obtained.
