Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the use efficiency of a color ribbon by discriminating whether the color ribbon is already used.
CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer color ribbon wherein a color ink layer 4 formed by alternately repeating at least the three primary colors and a color discriminating white marker 5 are provided on the surface of a strip like film support 1, a thermal layer 2a changed in light reflectivity by heat is formed on the surface or rear of the strip like film support 1.
