Title:
PROTECTING STRUCTURE FOR VIBRATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2532781
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the bending/vibrating posture of a vibrator uniform by providing a protecting member spaced a predetermined distance from the end face of the vibrator to inhibit the excessive shift in the axial direction of the vibrator in accordance with the self weight, working acceleration and strength of a supporting wire of the vibrator.
CONSTITUTION: Supporting brackets 11a, 11b are fixed opposite to the corresponding end faces of a vibrator 7 on a substrate 5 and with a predetermined distance spaced from the end faces of the vibrator 7. Screw members 12a, 12b penetrating tone brackets 11a, 11b are screwed. The end of each member 12a, 12b has a distance δ from the end face of the vibrator 7. Tone distance δ is determined as the mass of the vibrator 7, the acceleration generated while the vibration gyro is used, and the elasticity limit of supporting wires 3, 4 are taken into consideration. Accordingly, the elastic deformation of the wires 3, 4 is prevented and the bending posture of the vibrator 7 can be maintained constant at all times.
