Abstract:
PURPOSE: To contrive improvements in simplification, miniaturization, a low cost manufacture and throughput of a device, in a changeover device of a colored ink ribbon.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed color ink ribbon is selected by a ribbon driving gear 8, a lift intermittent gear 16 having a cog part gearing with the ribbon driving gear 8 and a neutral part not gearing with the ribbon driving gear 8, a lift friction gear which is supported axially turnably by a shaft of the lift intermittent gear 16 and a trigger lever 20 regulating a rotation of the lift intermittent gear 16. Therefore, since exchange of ribbons can be performed without using a driving source for exclusive use of the ribbon lift, miniaturization and making into a low cost of a device can be contrived and since a moving space of a carriage outside of a printing sphere can be minimized, improvements in the miniaturization and throughput can be contrived.
