PURPOSE: To provide a money receiving/dispensing device capable of relieving a system by sharing a device even when a fault occurs in a partial device, attaining economicity simultaneously, and without generating the short of cash at all the window parts to the end by sharing a safe, and continuing service.

CONSTITUTION: The automatic money receiving/dispensing device 1 is comprised of a customer information discrimination mechanism 2 to discriminate information inputted from a customer, the window part 4 including a cash receiving/dispensing port mechanism 3 in/from which the cash can be received/dispensed, and the constitution of a cash receiving/dispensing part 5 handling the receiving/dispensing of the cash used commonly to plural window parts 4 is comprised of a cash receiving/dispensing box 8 in which the cash is always stored and by which the receiving/dispensing of money is performed, a money receiving box 9 moved reciprocally between the window parts 4 and the cash receiving/dispensing box 8 and which receives the cash of the customer, a money dispensing box 10 from which the cash is dispensed to the customer, and a cash control mechanism 11 which performs the management of the quantity of the cash and change status in the cash receiving/dispensing box 8, the money receiving box 9, and the money dispensing box 10 with a processor 6 together, and the window part 4 and the cash receiving/dispensing part 5 are controlled by the processor 6.
