Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a water-expansible water cut-off agent part from a steel sheet pipe after use to enable reuse by providing a water-expansible water cut-off agent after application of a mold releasing agent to the joint of the steel sheet pile.
SOLUTION: Urethane is used as a water-expansible water cut-off agent. As the urethane, a polyether polyol having 30wt.%, or more oxyethylene units and a hydroxyl group equivalent weight of 800 to 4,000 and an urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group at its terminal are used. This urethane water expanding agent, applied to a steel sheet pile, expands on reacting with moisture in air to form a hydrated gel. A wax type mold releasing agent is used. A wax type mold releasing agent layer is provided at the joint of the steel sheet pile, and an urethane water-expansible water cut-off agent layer is provided so as to prevent degradation of water cut-off properties. After use, the water-expansible water cut-off agent is removed to enable reuse.
