Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an optimum sound field for each user by preparing a sound mixer corresponding to the user in the device where plural number of devices which express a virtual space moved freely by the intention of the user and the other-self of the user in the virtual space are interconnected via a communication network and plural users share the same virtual space in common at a remote location.
CONSTITUTION: A virtual space common share device 10 is provided with a voice adder means 4 mixing voices of other users corresponding to the user. Since each user moves freely in the virtual space by its own intention, the relation of position and the direction of the face of its own user and the other users are always changed. The position information and the sight direction information are used and the quality of the voice of the opposite party is changed by voice quality superiority provision means 3, 3',... depending on the distance between itself and the other party and the degree of coincidence of sight or the like and then an environment close to reality is realized in the virtual space.
